This page explains, in plain language, how Odaro handles information while the app is in early access. It reflects how the current build behaves.

Asking for early access

The early-access buttons on this site open your own email app with a short message to hello@odaro.app. This website does not run a sign-up form and does not store your email address. When you email us, we receive your message and email address and use them only to reply and to let you know when TestFlight access opens. You can ask us to remove your details at any time.

Your vehicle data stays on your device

Odaro is designed to be local-first. Your vehicles, records, reminders and documents are stored in the app on your iPhone. Odaro does not require an account to add a vehicle and start recording.

No tracking or analytics

Odaro does not track you. The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs, and it does not build a profile of you or sell information about you to anyone.

Camera, photos and files

Odaro asks for access to your camera, photos or files only so that you can scan an invoice, import a document or attach a photo to a record. These are used at the moment you choose them, and what you capture or import is stored with the vehicle record on your device. Odaro does not browse your photo library or your files in the background.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Odaro uses them only to raise the reminders you set yourself, such as a registration renewal, an inspection or a service due by date or odometer. Odaro does not send marketing notifications.

Backups and exports

You can export an Odaro backup of your vehicles, records, reminders, documents and attached files, and restore it later. Backups are made only when you choose to export one. Backups and exports go only where you choose to send or save them, and they stay there under your control rather than under ours.

Proof packs

A proof pack is an export you build from records you select. It leaves Odaro only when you deliberately share or save it using your device's share options.

Deleting your data

Clearing Odaro's data or deleting the app removes the app's local data from that device. Any backup, proof pack or other file you have already exported and saved somewhere else, such as in Files, iCloud Drive, another app or an email you sent, is outside the app and is not removed by deleting Odaro. You would need to delete those copies yourself, wherever you saved them.

TestFlight and Apple

Early access is delivered through Apple TestFlight. If you take part, Apple collects and handles information under its own terms and privacy policy, separately from Odaro.

Questions or removal
